Soul Kiss is an independent film company dedicated to producing evocative, entertaining, and compelling movies by women, for women and about women. Our stories, our journeys, our unique way of being in the world.
We are passionately driven by two very specific directives. One, to create quality cinema that fulfills the need in the LGBT community for “stories that speak to our experience”, and two, support female driven projects in what is still a male dominated industry.
Elena Undone (2010), A Perfect Ending (2012) and Anatomy of a Love Seen (2014) have been released, becoming instant classics in the world of women’s cinema. Our most recent project, Raven’s Touch (2015) starring the incomparable Dreya Weber (A Marine Story, The Gymnast) and stunning Traci Dinwiddie (Elena Undone, Stuff) is available on iTunes, Amazon, Hulu, YouTube, Google Play and Vudu.
“If there was ever an original concept in lesbian filmmaking, Raven’s Touch is it. From the raw emotions of it’s characters to it’s depiction of a nontraditional family, Raven’s Touch should be seen and appreciated by all.” – Curve Magazine
Now comes our most ambitious project to date, Ava’s Impossible Things. Currently in post-production, Ava’s incredible journey will be revealed this summer of 2016. We are proud to announce that Ava’s Impossible Things is the first film to receive an investment from Vimeo’s “Share the Screen” female filmmaking fund, which was launched at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival to support emerging female voices in film.
